Time-On-Task Survey
A
Survey Investigating
the
Effect of Increased Time-On-Task on L2 Performance
The purpose of this survey is to investigate the effect of increased Time-On-Task on ESL students’ written and oral performance in English. It is proposed that the time spent in the classroom be increased from four to six hours per week. As part of the justification for
this increase, we would like to determine what you believe this additional time
could help you accomplish as an English language teacher. To this end, we are requesting that you complete the
following survey. This survey will take about ten (10) minutes to complete.
Your input is greatly valued.
Please
note that your participation in this survey is voluntary. The survey is
anonymous so as to ensure your confidentiality. Your responses will help us
determine whether increasing the time will benefit our ESL students. If you are director of an English Language Program, please administer this survey to your faculty members and tabulate the results.
Thank
you in advance for completing this survey.
